Installed in the electrical control room, the transformer control panel regulates the primary-side supply to the desalter transformer. SCR conduction-angle control provides stepless voltage adjustment for crude oil electrostatic desalting and dehydration.
Automatic control combines soft start, constant-voltage and constant-current regulation, pulsed operating modes and electric-field breakdown tracking. Cabinet instruments, protective interlocks and DCS interfaces bring operation and monitoring together.
For crude oil desalting and dehydration, the 50 kVA configuration combines SCR stepless regulation, automatic/manual control and pulsed supply. Cabinet output feeds the transformer primary; the transformer produces the electrode high voltage.
